Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Have A Physical Studio Location?

I do have a small home studio location we can use. It includes a state-of-the-art lighting setup with strobes, LEDs, softboxes, and a spotlight. If you would feel more comfortable at a public location , you can book with a local studio in your area for space and studio time.
Can You Recieve A Refund?

Under normal circumstances, you CANNOT receive a refund. The time required to undergo a photoshoot and the many hours required for retouching photos and editing videos cannot be undone. If the images and videos you received are considered to be "unusable", for example, images are blurred, too bright, too dark, or are somehow lost during post-production, and they cannot be fixed in editing, we can work together to schedule a reshoot at no additional cost to you.

Why Only 6 Images for Most Photoshoots?
The time required to retouch every image can vary widely depending on the client's needs. Most clients want the "Hollywood/Magazine" look and this process can take anywhere between 30-60 minutes per photo. You can probably imagine this could be an issue for delivering 20-30 images. You can request additional photos at $12 per image.

How Long Is The Turnover Time For Edited Images?
The turnover time for images is 3-7 business days from the date that you choose which images you want
to be edited. This is also subject to change depending on how busy I am during the time
that you're booking your session. This is to account for how busy certain holidays become
throughout the year. I highly recommend booking your shoot at least a week or so before
you need the images to make sure you get them on time. Booking the day before
an event is fine, but there is no guarantee you'll receive your images on time.
What Are The Different Editing Methods?

Standard Retouching is simply applying a color correction and other minor corrections such as basic skin softening to the images and sending them to you. Advanced Retouching is a "full edit" that consists of more advanced editing techniques like Frequency Separation, Dodge & Burn, and detailed Skin Texturing/Corrections.

Do You Offer Re-Edits Or Revisions For Images?

Every photo is edited to 100% of my ability as a professional photographer/retoucher. If you truly believe the photos/videos not to be representative of high quality, I will offer ONE revision per image. After that point, it will incur an additional fee of $12 per image.

Do You Do Event-Style Photoshoots?

I DO NOT take on event-styled photoshoots (weddings, ceremonies, parties, etc,..) as my primary focus is aimed at fashion photography where I work with a model one-on-one or couples shoots where it's myself and a couple working together. These are shoots I'm far more comfortable and experienced with. I can however do pre-wedding or post-wedding portraits if needed. I want you to get the best possible photos for your special moments and there are amazing photographers out there that specialize in those fields that will give you the best. Thank you for understanding.

Do You Offer TFP(Time For Photos) or "Collaborations"?

I DO NOT offer TFP or collaborations.
Is There A Deposit For Photoshoots?
Yes, there is a $50 deposit for all photoshoots. This is to ensure that your shoot is placed and booked into the calendar. If we agree to a photoshoot and you do not put down a deposit, I cannot guarantee that your spot will be saved.

Can I Get A Refund For My $50 Deposit?
You CANNOT receive a refund for the deposit. If you cancel, this is to account for the loss of business and time spent towards planning said event and for turning away other clients who would have otherwise booked a session in your place.
You may, however, reschedule the shoot for another day based on both your availability and mine with no expiration.
